Eligibility:
This event is open to all Wisconsin chess players, former champions and students in WI schools. All entrants must be members of the US Chess Federation. US Chess membership may be purchased at the site. Wisconsin Chess Association membership is included in the entry. Our website address is www.wischess.org.

Playing Schedules:

Premier & Reserve |
The (1) Premier (open to all) and (2) Reserve (under 1800) sections are six-round Swiss system events.
Time control all rounds 40/90, then SD/30 + 30 second increment. Rounds are Saturday 10:00 & 6:00 PM, Sunday 11:00 & 5:00, and Monday 10:00 & 3:30.

Novice |
The (3) Novice section is a 1-day, four-round Swiss system event open to players rated under 1200 or unrated.
Time control is G/60 + 5 second increment. Rounds are Saturday at 10:00, 1:00, 3:30, and 6:00.

Registration:
Players may register online at King Registration. Registration will be accepted at the site Saturday, Sep. 2nd 8:00-9:30 AM. If your USCF membership is not current be prepared to purchase or renew your membership during late registration. Please bring your chess clock.
One ½-point bye is available for any round except the last if requested in advance.

Special Notes:
The $50 Scott Kittsley Memorial Upset Prize will be awarded to the person scoring the greatest upset in the tournament. The event is no smoking. The site is wheelchair accessible. No computers allowed.
