Round 1: Friday October 11 @ 6:00pm
Round 2: Saturday October 12 @ 10:00am
Round 3: Saturday October 12 @ 4:00pm
Round 4: Sunday October 13 @ 10:00am
Round 5: Sunday October 13 @ 4:00pm

Schedule: Two-day (Rounds 1 and 2 G/65d5)
Round 1: Saturday October 12 @ 10:00am
Round 2: Saturday October 12 @ 1:00pm
Merge with three-day after Round 2

$1000.00 based on 20 paid players.
With 20 players:
Top Prize:  400 + trophy

U2000: 200 + free entry into any Reno Chess Club Money Tournament in 2024 or 2025 for first place
U1600: 150 + free entry to anyReno Chess Club Money Tournament in 2024 or 2025 for first place
U1200: Free entry into any Reno Chess Club Saturday Quad Tournament in 2024 or 2025 for first place

All prizes adjusted proportionally for more or fewer players.

Other:

The three top scorers will meet and play the top three scorers from Southern Nevada at the Southern Nevada Chess Club in Las Vegas on November 8-10, 2024 for a Round Robin Tournament for the title of State Champion. Details TBA.

The three top scorers U1600 will meet and play the top three scorers in the U1600 category from Southern Nevada at the Southern Nevada Chess Club in Las Vegas on November 8-10, 2024 for a Round Robin Tournament for the title of NV Reserve Champion. Details TBA.

 

Maximum two half-point byes available.

If insufficient entrants in the 2 day, they will be given a ½ point bye for the Friday round and join the Saturday/Sunday 3 day schedule.

All players should bring sets and clocks!

The tournament will use the October 2024 rating supplement.

Tie-break information on site.

 

Players must reside in Nevada in one of the following counties and have their eligible address on file with USCF:

Washoe, Humbolt, Elko, Pershing, Storey, Churchill, Lander, Eureka, White Pine, Lyon, Douglas, Mineral and Carson City

 

US Chess Membership is required.
