Mixed Doubles: best male/female combined 2-player team score: $800-400-200. Average rating below 2200; teammates may play in different sections.
Unrated or provisionally rated players may not win more than $400 in any under section, balance goes to next players in line.
August US Chess ratings will be used for pairings and eligibility however other ratings may be used if higher. This includes but is not limited to unofficial US Chess ratings, US Chess Online ratings, CCA minimum ratings, converted FIDE, or other national ratings. The decision of the chief tournament director regarding eligibility or other rating issues is final.
$139 by 8/1, $149 by 8/15, $159 by 8/23, $180 on site. $40 less for under 1200 section.
Play up fee $40 for players playing in any section above the lowest section they qualify for.
Refunds may be requested 2 hours before your first round. A $20 Service charge is withheld to cover credit card and processing fees.
3-day: Friday 7 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. & 4 p.m., Sunday 10 a.m. & 3 p.m.
2-day: Saturday 10 a.m., 1 p.m. & merge at 4 p.m. with 3-day players.
Blitz: Saturday 9 p.m.
Registration ends 1 hour before round 1. Late entries may receive a half point bye in round 1.
Half point byes (limit 2) available in any round if requested at least 2 hours before the round; Sunday byes must be requested before the start of round 3 and may not be cancelled.
All sections are US Chess rated (membership required). Top 2 sections are FIDE rated.
Chess sets and boards are provided for tournament play only, not for skittles. Please bring increment capable digital chess clocks.
No outside food or beverage, other than water, will be allowed in the tournament playing room or the skittles area. Exceptions may be made for persons who need a particular food or beverage for medical reasons.

Rooms in the Masquerade Tower are only $39 weekdays and $129 Friday & Saturday. The resort fee is discounted to $32. Reserve early to be sure to get these rates. After August 1st, rates will be higher.
