Main event 2024 Chicago Summer Open Friday through Sunday

5 Rounds
Trophies to top 7 in each section

ENTRY FEE: SECTIONS:
  • $30 online by 6/14
  • $35 online by 6/21
  • $40 day of or onsite
  • Onsite entries after 11:30am receive ½-point bye for round 1
  • US Chess membership required
  • Rounds: 12:00, then ASAP subsequent rounds
  • SECTIONS: Under 1200, Under 800 and Under 500
  • 5 Rounds at G/25;d5
  • Trophies to top 7 in each section
  • Participation award to all players
  • Open to players aged 18 and under
  • Must be rated at least 700 to play up into U1200 and at least 400 to play up into U800

 

Boards and sets provided
Clocks provided for U1200 section
Notation is required for U1200 section and is optional for U800 and U500.
