LEVEL UP TOURNAMENTS
Casa de Ajedrez, L3C will be hosting its 4th USCF tournament.
The primary roll for the "Level Up" tournaments is to give players the opportunity to gain experience, allowing them gain rating points and to understand the USCF type tournaments. (All players must have current USCF memberships)
This tournament will be held at the:
Location: The Henning Cultural Center @ 923 Ruth St, Sulphur, LA, United States, Louisiana
Date: May 31st, 2025
Time: 10AM to 5:45PM
Tournament details:
4 rounds, 2 Divisions, Swiss Pairing, G/45 d/10 - USCF Dual Rated Tournament.
Round Schedule:
Round 1 - 10AM
Round 2 - 11:50AM
Break - 1:30PM - 30 MINUTE BREAK (Bring your own lunch)
Round 3 - 2PM,
Round 4 - 3:50PM
(Estimate one hour and forty minutes per round)
(All round times are subject to change.)
Entry fees differ per division:
On-site registration ends at 9:45am.
Eligibility: Capacity limited to first 40 players, please pre-register to guarantee your seat.
Current USCF membership required.
Bring your own chess clock (USCF regulated)
(If you don't have a chess clock, no problem we have several)
(Chess boards will be provided)
Taking notation is recommended but not required.
Byes: 1 half-point byes available upon request.
(No requests may be made after the start of round three, other than for emergency situations.)
