Sections: Master/Expert, A, B, C, D, E, U1000, U800.
Class A, B, C, D, E (1000-1199) players may play up ONE class for $20 play-up fee.
Players rated 800-999 may play up to Class E at no additional charge.
U800 players rated 600 or higher may play to U1000 section at no additional charge.
Unrated players may play in sections E, U1000 or U800
November rating supplement determines section eligibility.

Schedule:

  • Master/Expert through Class E (G/60;d5) — 10:00am, 12:30pm, 3:00pm, 5:30pm
  • U1000 and U800 (G/45;d5) — 10:00am, 12:30pm, 2:30pm, 4:30pm
  • One 1/2-point bye OK any round, must commit by end of round 2.

Prizes (FULLY GUARANTEED):

  • Master/Expert: $800-500-300-200-125
  • A through D: $300-200-135-75-60
  • E, Under 1000, Under 800: Trophies to first, second, third; commemorative award to fourth through tenth place. If necessary, organizer will redistribute the 30 awards to reflect the registration numbers in each section, with each section having at least 7 awards. Medals to any players who earn 2.5 points or higher and didn’t receive an award.

Entry Fee:

  • $60 Master/Expert and A-D online or USPS postmarked by 11/10
  • $40 Class E, Under 1000, Under 800 online or USPS postmarked by 11/10
  • $10 increase after 11/10
  • Class A, B, C, D, E (1000-1199) players may play up ONE class for $20 play-up fee.
    Players rated 800-999 may play up to Class E at no additional charge.
    U800 players rated above 600 may play in U1000 section at no additional charge.
  • On-site registration: 8:30 - 9:30am
  • Entries after cutoff receive ½-point byes for round 1.
