Women’s Regional FIDE Chess Championship

Hotel Rate: $139 per night (Reserve by Friday 5th April 2024, for the Chess Rate)
Proceeds directly support Gynecologic Oncology, research, treatment, and initiatives of the Comprehensive Program at the Cleveland Clinic. All players can also have their own fundraising page as well, please see organizer for more information.
Format: FIDE rated, 4 round Swiss
Time Control: G/90, +30
Rounds Times: Saturday 10pm and 3pm, Sunday 9am and 2:00pm
Entry Fee: $75 by Thursday 4/11, $85 by 4/19, $90 after or on-site
Sections: Open and Under 1800. Minimum of 1700 to play in the open section.
Prizes (based on 60):
- Open: $1,500 (Plaque), $750, $375
- Under 1800: $500, $250, $150
- Doubles Prizes: $250 for the best doubles pair (Siblings, Mother/Daughter, Couples, Aunt/nieces, Cousins, Grandmother/grandchild)
Default time is 1 hour.
Blitz Tournament at 8:30pm.
