We are located at 6284 Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas, NV. That's just west of Jones on Spring Mountain.
We share a building with the Las Vegas Chinese School
Open to all USCF Members. Please bring regulation sets and chess clocks supporting increment.
Schedule: Three-day (all rounds G/90+30)
Round 1: Friday February 21 @ 6:00pm
Round 2: Saturday February 22 @ 1:00pm
Round 3: Saturday February 22 @ 6:00pm
Round 4: Sunday February 23 @ 10:30am
Round 5: Sunday February 23 @ 3:30pm
Schedule: Two-day (Rounds 1 and 2 G/30+5)
Round 1: Saturday February 22 @ 1:00pm
Round 2: Saturday February 22 @ 2:30pm
Merge with three-day after Round 2
Sections
Two sections:
Under 1500
Open (1500+ rated. Players under 1500 may opt for $40 playup fee )
Prizes
Based on 32 paid players per section. Prizes adjusted proportionally, per section, for more or fewer players in each section.
U1500 Section: $700 + trophy $500 $300
In section: top u1250 = $300 top u900 = $200 (Class Prizes require a minimum of 3 eligible class players in order to be awarded)
Open Section: $800 + trophy $600 $300
In Section: top u2000 = $300 top u1800 = $200 (Class Prizes require a minimum of 3 eligible class players in order to be awarded)
Maximum number of entries: 64. Registration not confirmed until payment received.
Waitlist will start if/when max entries received.
Entry fee: $127 before February 7 11:59pm, $152 by February 14 11:59pm $177 after February 14 pending avail space
Playup Fee: $40
SNVCC Membership discount not valid for this tournament
SNVCC players may register in person at a Friday Night Casual Chess and save $2 with cash or check.
Open to all USCF Members. Please bring regulation sets and chess clocks supporting increment.
Refunds: may be requested prior to start of Round 1. $20 withheld for processing fees. Please allow up to 7 days.
Maximum two half-point byes available.
Byes for R4 and R5 must be requested before Round 3 and are irrevocable
US Chess Membership is required.
