UNO September 2023 Chess Tournament:

Location:      Milo Bail Student Center, 3^rd Floor, University of Nebraska Omaha

Entry Fee:    $25 via KingRegistration by September 5^th, $30 payable onsite. $8/$10 entry fee for the U800 and U400 sections. The entry fee is waived if student or faculty at UNO. Registration from 8:30 to 9 am.

Sections/Round Times/Time Control:

5 distinct sections: Open, U1800, U1200, U800, U400.

• Open/U1800 – 40 minutes delay 5 seconds
  • R1: 9am or shortly after registration
  • R2: 10:45
  • Lunch Break
  • R3: 1:30
  • R4: 3:15
• U1200 -- 30 minutes delay 5 seconds
  • R1: 9am or shortly after registration
  • R2: 10:15
  • Lunch Break
  • R3: 12:45
  • R4: 2:00
• U800/U400
  • 4 or 5 rounds
  • Round times announced at the tournament. Lunch break will be announced at the tournament.
  • Clocks are not necessary, but please bring boards

 

Additional Information:

Boards and clocks must be provided by the players themselves. Scoresheets will be provided to the Open and U1800 sections. These sections must turn in a copy of their scoresheets.
