Format: Four round swiss format, G/25;d5 tournament. 8 sections:

Four USCF rated sections - K-2 (elo 300 max); K-5 (elo 500 max); K-8 (elo 700 max); K-12 (elo 1000 max)

(If you're outside of the range for registration, example; ELO is too high, please contact Mrs. Babaz to review and make any adjustments)

& Four UNRATED sections - K-2; K-5; K-8; K-12

Venue: TS Cooley Elementary School - 2711 COMMON ST, LAKE CHARLES, 70601

Prizes: Individual trophies in each section

Registration: 8:45AM-9:15AM. Anyone not registered by 9:15AM will be given a first round bye

Check in: Please visit the front desk when entering.

Round times: 10AM, 11:15AM, 12:30PM, and 1:45PM (times are subject to change)

Entry fee: All fees must be paid directly to TS Cooley Elementary School before you register.

Byes: One half-point bye available upon request. All byes must be requested before round 3, with exceptions made for emergency situations. All bye requests final after beginning of round 1.

Late arrivals: Games are forfeited 30 minutes after the round start time if a player has not arrived.

Refunds: No refunds
