We cordially invite everyone to our Chesterfield SUNDAY SWISS G90 tournament! USCF-rated. Notation is mandatory.

Format: 2 sections: 

  • OPEN Section
  • Under 1500 Section
  • 5 rounds, Swiss style. One 1/2-point bye permitted for any round if declared prior to round 1. 
  • TD reserves the right to adjust section break or provide wild-card entry. Maximum capacity is 56 players & we reserve rights to cap the entry at max. 

Time control: G/90; +10 second increment

Schedule:

  • Saturday (10/12/24)-Round-1 starts at 10AM, Round-2 starts at 1:30 PM, Round-3: As soon as possible
  • Sunday (10/13/24): Round 4 starts at 10 AM and Round 5: As soon as possible. 

Entry Fees: 

  • Early Bird Registration till 9/28/24: $25 
  • Regular registration (between 9/29/24 & 10/5/24): $30
  • Regular registration (between 10/6/24 to 10/11/24): $35 
  • Late entry (day of tournament) 10/12/24: $40

Prizes: 

  • OPEN SECTION: 1st Place $100 and 2nd Place $50
  • U1500 SECTION: 1st Place: $50 
  • Total prize money based on 20 total confirmed entries. 

Directions:

  • Parking: Recommended in front of the UPS STORE or SEOUL TACO.
  • Entrance: Ground floor through main big glass doors.
  • SIGNS: Look for the Chess Cardinals banner.
  • Restrooms: Ground floor near emergency EXIT. Separate for MEN/WOMEN. You would need keys. Please look for “RESTROOM KEYS” sign on the wall near office door to locate these keys.

All registrants and participants release and discharge Chess Cardinals from all liability, losses, and damages for libel, slander, invasion of privacy or any other claim arising out of or relating to the use of videotapes, recordings and/or photographs.
