Format: 4-round Swiss tournament

Time Control: G/50;+5

Seven Sections:
     Open (2000 and Up) FIDE Rated
     Class A (1800-1999) FIDE Rated
     Class B (1600-1799) FIDE Rated
     Class C (1400-1599) FIDE Rated
     Class D (1200-1399) FIDE Rated
     U1200 (800-1199)
     U800 (100-799)
     Players within 100 points of rating floor of a higher section may play up for an additional $5.

Important:
     • All sections USCF dual-rated.
     • Open, Class A, Class B, Class C & Class D sections are all FIDE Rapid rated.
     • USCF membership required (may be purchased or renewed at on site)
     • FIDE ID required (it may be requested here: FIDE ID Request or on site.)
     • February 2024 USCF Regular ratings will be used for section eligibility, pairings, and prize eligibility.
       Other ratings may be used if higher. The decision of the Chief Tournament Director regarding
       eligibility, rating adjustments, conversions, unofficial ratings, or other rating issues is final.
     • A maximum of two half-point byes are available. Half-point byes must be requested no later than
       30 minutes before the round starts for Rds 1-2. Half-point byes for Rds 3-4 must be requested
       before the start of Round 2 and may not be revoked after Round 2 starts.
     • Boards, sets, AND clocks will be provided for all sections.

Prizes: Based on percentage of base entry fees for each section:
       Open:     30%/15%/10%, 1st U2200: 5% (FIDE Rated)
       Class A: 30%/15%/10% (FIDE Rated)
       Class B: 30%/15%/10% (FIDE Rated)
       Class C: 30%/15%/10% (FIDE Rated)
       Class D: 30%/15%/10% (FIDE Rated)
       U1200:   Trophies to top 3
       U800:     Trophies to top 3, 1st U500

Schedule: Round times: Rd 1: 9:00 am, Rd 2: 11:30 am, Rd 3: 2:00 pm, Rd 4: 4:30 pm

Entry Fees: $30 early, $35 late, $40 on site.

Re-entry: Players may re-enter after 1st or 2nd round with half-point byes for previous rounds.
                 Re-entry fees: $5 after Rd 1, $10 after Rd 2.

Early online registration is available until midnight MST Jan 31
Late online registration is available until midnight MST Feb 2
On-site registration is until 8:30 am on Feb 3
Late on-site registration is available after 8:30 am with half-point byes for any early rounds that are missed.

Refunds: Refunds may be requested until one hour before the start of Round 1. No refunds will be given after that time. All refunds will incur a 5% processing fee.
