I hear question #1 already: "Wait. Timeout. Where IS this so-called Oskaloosa, anyway?"

I'm glad you asked!

It's right where you want it to be!!

20 minutes from Lawrence. 30 minutes from Topeka. 1 hour from St. Joseph, MO or Overland Park. It's even just 90 minutes from Manhattan!

So you all can totally play in this event without having to get up too early or drive home too late.  See you there!

THINGS TO KNOW:

Food:  There is pizza next door and an excellent coffee shop which I will totally vouch for about a 5 minute walk away, but there is no fast food in town and only a few restaurants.

However, we have a refrigerator to keep food and drinks in, and a microwave to cook it.

If pizza and/or pastries aren't your thing, pack a lunch.  Be aware and be prepared!

Free Parking: Ample, both in lot and on street.

Director will be available to play an optional rated game against the player who receives a bye during any round where there is an odd number of players.

Director will not paired normally, and will not be eligible for any cash prizes.
