Entry Fee:     

$60 by 2025-11-16 for the Open, $70 by 12/05/2025, $80 on site.

$25 by 2025-11-16 for the Beginner U1000, $30 by 12/5/2025, $35 on site.

$15 by 2025-11-16 for the Blitz, $20 by 12/05/2025, $25 on site.

Re-Entry: Players may re-enter from the 3-day to the 2-day section for an additional $15.

Fide GMS, IMS free entry(excluding arena titles)  and Entry Fee deducted from prize. ALL USCF Master titled players have half entry(excluding CM titles)  and Entry Fee deducted from prize.

Beginner U1000: Saturday 1:00 PM, rounds 2 to 5 ASAP

Blitz: Saturday 2:00 PM, rounds 2-5 ASAP

Prizes: Open Section:

  • 1st Place: $300
  • 2nd Place: $200
  • 3rd Place: $100
  • Under 2000 (U2000): $100
  • Under 1800 (U1800): $100
  • Under 1600 (U1600): $100
  • Under 1400 (U1400): $100
  • Total Prize $1,000 listed above are based on a minimum of 35 players registered.
  • If registration is below 35 players, 75% of the above prize money will be distributed.

 Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will be provided to the top 3 finishers of the RBO.

 An U800 trophy and an U400 trophy will be provided for the top finishers respectively.

Trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will be provided to the top 3 finishers of the Blitz Rated.

Medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd will be provided to the top 3 of the casual Blitz non-Rated.

 

 

The tie-break for the trophies will be decided in the following order:

  1. Common Game
  2. Solkoff
  3. Modified Median
  4. Cumulative

Refund

50% of Online registration will be refunded if you register early and must withdraw.

 Byes:  

One 1/2-point bye per player. Last round bye must be requested prior to the start of the 1st round to receive a 1/2-point.  Byes for all other rounds must be requested 1 hour prior to the start of the round. 

USCF: ratings used for pairing rank and prizes. FIDE: Swiss pairing rules and floor rulings. USCF Dec supplement used for ratings. FIDE rule 11.3 is enforced with regard to electronic devices. Players who show up more than 45 minutes late for the start of the round will be forfeited on time. Players must turn in a scoresheet for every gameNO ELECTRONIC SCORESHEETS WITHOUT PRIOR APPROVAL. Contact Ben Bratz for approval of electronic scoresheets. 

Spectators are allowed, but must be silent. The director reserves the right to remove any spectators from the playing hall at any time. Bring Boards and clocks.
