2025 New Mexico All-Girls State Championship

• All-Girls Scholastic Championship: USCF Rated, 5-Round Swiss, g/40d5
  • Entry Fee: $30 by April 11th, $40 on April 12th on-site

Prizes:

• All-Girls Scholastic: Medals to top 3 girls overall. Medal for top High School, Middle School, and Elementary School Girl. Overall winner will be invited to represent New Mexico at the 2025 Haring National Invitationals in Middleton, WI at the end of July.

 

Schedule:

April 12th -

• Round 1: 9am
• Round 2: 10:45am
• Round 3: 12:30pm
• Round 4: 2:15pm
• Round 5: 4pm

 

Special Notes:

The New Mexico Girls Championship is the OFFICIAL state girls scholastic championship of New Mexico. It is organized by the New Mexico Chess Organization, the New Mexico state chapter of the United States Chess Federation.

Byes: Up to 2 optional half-point byes may be requested BEFORE round 1. All byes requested during the event are zero points.

Spectators: No spectators are allowed in playing areas when the games have begun for the day. A designated spectator area will be available.

National Invitationals: The Girls Scholastic Champion qualifies for the 2025 Haring National Invitational tournament with NMCO travel stipend. In case of a tie for first place for the national qualifier spots, the tied eligible players will play pairs of G/3+2 blitz games until there is a winner.​
