In person, at The Houston Chess Studio, former coach of the Cuban National Chess Team - Julio Espinosa
If you are serious about getting better at chess.
May 12th, 2023 Mating with king and queen against king and rook is somewhat tricky, but not when you know the necessary technique. These endings are common and knowing them is a valuable tool for turning an advantage into a win. Learning the king and queen vs. king and rook endgames will also help you better understand the importance of material and mobility in the overall game.
Besides the lesson itself you will be given homework. Do the homework and it will help ensure you have mastered the concepts you just learned.
