This fun side event to the US Junior Chess Congress is open to players 18 years old or younger and will be automatically paired on Chess.com and US Chess Online Blitz Rated.

Format: 8/SS, G/3+2

Two sections: Two sections will be available: Open (all ratings) and Reserve (players rated under 1200 in Chess.com blitz). Players eligible for the Reserve section will select it on when they log in to the tournament. 

Schedule: Log in to tournament section by 7:45 pm ET, Round 1 begins at 8:00 pm ET, rounds 2-7 will be paired as soon as the previous round finishes.

Entry Fee: $20 online by 4/9 6 pm ET.

Prizes: Medals will be shipped to top five players in each section. Additional prizes may be added.

Important: 

• Complete playing instructions will be sent to the email address provided at registration.
• US Chess Membership is required
• Game results will be checked for fair play both during and after the event.
