Description:
An unrated scholastic chess tournament by grade level for Wheaton chess players and their schools. All proceeds will be donated to the Wheaton North and Wheaton Warrenville South Chess Teams and the charity Pencils of Promise. Concessions will be available for purchase.
Location:
Wheaton North High School Library (Enter through door 27)
701 W. Thomas Road, Wheaton, IL 60187.
Sections:
K-1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6-8, Non-Wheaton K-2, Non-Wheaton 3-5, Non-Wheaton 6-8
Team Sections:
K-1 (Lower Primary), 2-3 (Upper Primary), 4-5 (Elementary), 6-8 (Junior High)
Rounds:
Doors open at 8:00am. Round 1 begins at 9:00am. All other rounds as soon as possible.
All players will play 5 rounds. Game 30 with 5 second delay.

8 Individual Trophies For Each Section
3 Team Trophies For Each Team Section - Top 4 players count towards team score; must have 2 players to qualify as a team. No club teams.
Registration:
Full information can be seen at www.elitechess.net/all-wheaton . Entry fee is $25 if registration takes place online by 11:59 pm on 2/17/2024. $30 after 2/17/2024. Entries after 2/22/24 cannot be guaranteed pairing for round 1 and may receive 1/2 point bye in round 1.
