Byes: Limit 2 in Hull House Open; limit 3 in other sections. Must commit before rd. 2; 2nd Sun. bye counts as 0.4 towards prizes.
Example 1: Nona plays in Hull House Open and requests byes in Rounds 1 and 5. She receives 0.5 points for each bye round for both pairing and prize purposes.
Example 2: Nana plays in Hull House Open and requests byes in Rounds 4 and 5. She receives 0.5 point for each game for pairing purposes. For prize purposes, she receives 0.5 points for Round 4 and 0.4 points for Round 5, as both her first and her second requested byes are on a Sunday.
