Open to all age 50+ by July 28th. Top finishing Mississippi player will qualify for the 8th Annual John T. Irwin National Tournament of Senior State Champions and get the plaque and title of Mississippi Senior Champion.
Format: 4SS, G/90 i30
One half point bye available for all but last round. Must declare before the start of the 2nd round.
Prize funds will be split in the case of ties. Plaque and title by tiebreaks if required.
US Chess Federation rated. USCF membership required for all participants. Mississippi Chess Association membership required.
