A State Championship Event with Open and Scholastic Sections

Location: Jackson Preparatory School, 3100 Lakeland Dr, Flowood, MS 39232
Date: Saturday, June 14th
Check In: No later than 8:30 AM
The Mississippi G/60 Championship is an officially rated US Chess tournament.
US Chess membership is required. Out of state players are welcome.
Entry Fee: $20 by June 12, $30 after.

Registrants will be posted at www.mcachess.org.
All chess equipment will be provided.
All players are required to take manual notation using scoresheets. Scoresheets are
available at the tournament.
The Swiss System tournament will consist of five sections: Championship, Under
1500, Under 1000, and Under 600. All players are eligible to play in the
Championship section. Unrated players can play in their choice of section, but
unrated players greater than 10 years of age cannot win a prize in the Under 600
section.
Schedule: 4 Rounds no elimination. All rounds will be played 60 minutes for each
player with a 5 second delay.
Saturday: 9:00 AM, 11:15 AM, 2:15 PM, 4:30 PM, may accelerate as possible.
Players will be allowed a minimum 10 minute rest break between rounds.
