Tournament details: Three round, two-section (U1000 & open/unrated), swiss system, G/40;+5, USCF rated tournament.

Prize fund: (Based on 20 entries) 1st, 2nd, 3rd OPEN: $40-$20-$10 U1000:$40-$20-$10

 

Tiebreaks: Cash prizes to be split among tied entrants.

Date: Saturday, Sept 7th, registration 9:00AM - 9:45AM, first round pairs at 10:00AM.

Round times: Rated 10:00AM, [meal break], 1:00PM, 3:00PM, prizes at 5:00PM. Round times are tentative and subject to change.

Venue: The DEN (Dynamic Enrichment Network) 55 51st St, Gulfport, MS 39507

Pairing: Please choose your section at registration. If you have a regular rating and a quick rating, the higher rating will be used. If you have only a regular rating or a quick rating, that rating will be used. You may play up a section. If you have no rating you will have to enter the open section unless you can make a case otherwise.

Family/Club Member Pairing: If you wish to NOT be paired against a family member or club member you must notify us before round #1!

Eligibility: $20 entry fee if purchased by 9/6/24. $25 at the door. Capacity limited to first 40 players, pre-register to guarantee your slot. Current USCF membership required.

Bye policy: There will be no requested byes for this small 3 round tournament.
