PLAYING SITE: Embassy Suites by Hilton Milwaukee Brookfield (1200 South Moorland Road, Brookfield, WI 53005; 262-782-2900)
FORMAT: 5-round Swiss event in four sections: Open, U1601, U1201, and Scholastic Non-Rated. Time Control is g/15+10inc (15 minutes per game per player, with a 10 second increment for every move). Notation is not required. Boards and sets are provided. Please bring a digital clock if you own one. Please note: Scholastic Non-rated section is intended as a good introduction to tournament chess for the relatively new players; experienced scholastic players are strongly encouraged to register for one of the rated sections.
ROUND TIMES: 10:00am, 11:15am, 1:00pm, 2:15pm, 3:30pm
RATINGS: Open, U1601, and U1201 sections are US Chess Quick rated. Current US Chess Membership is required. At the discretion of tournament directors, the highest of one's US Chess ratings (regular, quick, online regular, online quick) can used for the purpose of pairings and prizes, but only one's Quick rating will be affected by this event. Unrated players can enter any section and be eligible for place prizes only. Scholastic section is non-rated (US Chess membership is not required), but current ratings can be used for pairing purposes.

ENTRY FEE: Open/U1601/U1201 sections: $60 if registered by December 5th; $70 if registered by December 9th; $80 if registered by 8:00am on December 10th. Scholastic Non-Rated section: $40 if registered by 8:00am on December 10th.
