We are excited to announce our repeat of “Checkmate Hate,” the 11th CHESSanity annual Chess-in-the-Park event jointly held with The Holocaust Memorial and Tolerance Center in Glen Cove, which will take place on Sunday, September 29th!

 

Like our previous Chess-in-the-Park events, we welcome everyone to come and play! USCF rating is not required. In addition, this year, the staff at HMTC will be onsite for a guided tour for players and their friends and family members. 

 

There will be money prizes for winners of Blitz (unrated) and Bughouse tournaments. Do not worry if you don't have a bughouse partner! We will help you find someone onsite to partner with.

 

All fees generated through early bird entry will be donated to HMTC for their effort against prejudice and bigotry.

Entry fees will be $15, $20, $25 (by 09/18, 09/25, 09/28) which will be donated to HMTC. No onsite registration (may not be possible due to capacity).
