4SS G/60; d5, USCF Dual Rated.
One Section: Open to all Players.
Online Registration and Payment:
Advance entries are strongly recommended. Entry fees are $20 by October 7th, $25 after, $40 on site.
Schedule:
Check-in and Registration 9:00 – 9:30 am, first round 9:45 am, last round ends roughly 7:30 PM. You may take a half-point bye in any round. On-site entries are taken on as-available, first-come, first serve basis starting at 9:00 am.
Master and Expert entries: All Masters/Experts get free entry. If your USCF Regular Rating is 2000 or higher, email your name + USCF ID to HiroHiguchi@Rocketmail.com or by text (847) 602-7726 by 8 PM of the day before the tournament; $20 will be deducted from the Prize.
Prizes:
Open 1st: $100 2nd: $70 based on 25 players.
Biggest upset: $50 – To qualify, you must defeat somebody higher rated than you, even by one point (live rating only).
Other Information:
Bring digital clocks, No Smoking, limit 50 Players.
Online Registration closes 8 PM before the day of the tournament.
Fast food is available, less than a mile from the Tournament site.
