Combined Player Database Files
NEW: Starting with the May 2023 database, the database file name has changed slightly to "uscffide.dbf". Make sure to update the path in SwissSys. It was "uscf-fide.dbf". This is for compatibility with SwissSys version 11.
Reason: Apparently the database engine that SwissSys version 11 uses has trouble with long filenames. With the original name, you might encounter an error that the file is not a valid database. This is untrue. The problem is that it can't handle the long filename. The file name was shortened to accomodate this.
The combined database file is a dbase file that includes all six US Chess ratings and all three FIDE ratings for all active US Chess players. Inactive player IDs (duplicate, deceased, etc.) have been excluded from this database for brevity. This file is compatible with SwissSys (version 9, 10, or 11). For instructions on how to set up SwissSys scroll down to the bottom of this page. Only the last 6 months are displayed, while databases are available back to April 2021. Use the contact form to request an older month than those displayed.
